Pre Honeymoon?

Alison and I are lucky enough to have some friends down in the Cayman Islands so we decided to make a trip to visit them. For those that followed our Europe blog, you'll know that we got certified to SCUBA dive on a beach trip to Egypt since we both get bored sitting on the beach for days on end and this trip was no different. We went on nine dives, including getting our advanced certification which opens us up to some better dive spots around the world in the future. Alison's dad was nice enough to get us a cool HD video camera for Christmas last year, which was originally meant for skiing but lucky for us, it's water proof as well! With a little help from iMovie, I made this "movie trailer" to show some of the fun we had (I recommend clicking the "youtube" button and going directly to the website and watching in 720p HD in full screen). Wedding Hotels - finally!

We have a couple of options for hotels for the wedding. The first is a block of rooms at the Marriott Downtown: Details below.

You can book online or call the toll-free reservation line. To book online, go to Marriott.com/mcidt and on the left side of the page, please enter the dates, and number of rooms. Then click on “+ Special Rates & Awards”, tic the radio button and enter your code under “Group Code” of APWAPWA and click on “Check Availability”. You will see the "Anderson/Poull Wedding" come up with the rate. The other option is to call the reservation center at 800.810.0850. Their rate is $129/night.

Our second hotel option is called the Hotel Phillips. You can call or go to their website and mention that you are staying there and want "the wedding rate" - and you will receive 20% off of the current rate.
